Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols at 99.9% fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop scalable qubit architectures
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Develop IP portfolios with 15+ patent applications per cycle
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion traps
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects preferred
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and RF control systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional research teams
