Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms targeting 2026 industry applications
- Optimize qubit stability and coherence in cryogenic environments
- Collaborate with AI teams to create hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Secure $10M+ in research funding through NSF/DoD proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Davos Tech Summit
- Patent at least 3 quantum computing innovations annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on quantum circuit design experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of Shor's and Grover's algorithms
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
