Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead quantum error correction research at room-temperature systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop fault-tolerant qubits
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for industrial partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science
- 3+ years quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Published work in top-tier quantum journals
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Proven ability to secure government/industry funding
- Fluency in Python and C++
