Responsibilities
- Lead research on quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026 security standards
- Develop novel quantum algorithms optimizing machine learning inference by 1000x
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum error correction systems
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2018-2023)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC/Cloud)
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks
- Clearance for DoD Level 5 research projects preferred
