Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning
- Lead research on post-quantum security protocols for critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with MIT and CERN on quantum simulation projects
- Develop AI models that leverage quantum-entangled data processing
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Shor's algorithm and Grover's optimization techniques
- Strong background in cryptography and cybersecurity
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies preferred
