Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms leveraging error-corrected qubits for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims in cryptography and machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world deployment in 2026 enterprise ecosystems
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NIST grants for quantum-resistant security initiatives
- Collaborate with NASA and MIT on quantum communication protocols for interplanetary networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (≥5 first-author papers)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, or color codes)
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures and pulse-level control systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or Majorana fermion implementations
- Ability to translate theoretical models into experimental protocols with 99.9% fidelity
