Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum hardware in 2026-era systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum models into practical applications
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar R&D grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and classical-quantum hybrid system architecture
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap
