Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for next-generation quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum supremacy claims
- Lead open-source quantum computing initiatives on GitHub
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Mentor PhD interns from MIT and Stanford quantum programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability theory
- Security clearance preferred for government-funded projects
