Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization problems in logistics and pharmaceuticals
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to characterize qubit performance metrics
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic standards for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM/Qiskit or Google Cirq
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with low-temperature cryogenic systems
- Track record of translating theory into practical applications
