Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit systems at 10mK temperatures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security protocols
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks using Cirq and Qiskit
- Secure $5M+ in NSF/DARPA grant funding for advanced research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Ability to secure federal research grants
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
