Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems

- Lead cross-functional research teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
- Patent quantum computing innovations with commercialization potential
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum hardware
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Ability to secure federal or corporate research grants ($500k+ preferred)
