Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography applications

- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA proposals

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA, VQE)

- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
