Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop machine learning frameworks for quantum data analysis
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Interface with industry partners to translate quantum research into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proven research publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) preferred
