Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using IBM and Google quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA and NSF research grants
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published peer-reviewed papers on quantum entanglement or decoherence
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and topological quantum computing
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum annealing principles
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing hardware (D-Wave, Rigetti)
