Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic systems
- Lead experiments with 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DOE clearance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
