Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubit platforms
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 3+ years post-doctoral experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Hands-on experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Ability to secure government/industry research grants (preferred)
