Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects using superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum computational stability
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-departmental innovation
- Secure external research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithm optimization
- Proficiency in cryogenic quantum hardware operations
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical solutions
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
