Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit stability in multi-qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors and validate performance metrics
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in partnership with academic institutions
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through experimental prototyping
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical computer science
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (e.g., IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to mathematical rigor
