Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems

- Lead cross-functional research projects with industry partners
- Secure external funding through NSF and DoD grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Author patents and publish in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
