Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum hardware platforms including superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques and quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum software solutions
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity theory
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks and cloud quantum computing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary research projects and mentor junior scientists
