Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and AI acceleration
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and coherence
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in NSF/DARPA grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for industry applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, CS, or Applied Mathematics
- 3+ years quantum programming (Qiskit/Q#)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency with Python/C++ and HPC systems
- Experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Strong grant-writing and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
