Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge software-hardware interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research in leading journals and conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects translating quantum theory into commercial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
