Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction codes for next-generation processors
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on proprietary hardware platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-optimized architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure and manage research partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithm development
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to secure external research funding
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
