Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms on superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models to hardware implementations
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years hands-on quantum hardware experience with IBM/Qiskit
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Strong track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers
