Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum solutions into commercial applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing educational initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with superconducting/qubit systems
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Shor's algorithm)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and Python
- Published record in quantum computing research or relevant domain
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and error mitigation techniques
