Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional research projects in quantum machine learning integration
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to validate quantum circuit performance
- Advise on quantum security frameworks for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information science
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
