Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum error mitigation research
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for industrial applications
- Secure $2M+ in research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with NASA on quantum-resistant communication protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Track record of securing research funding
