Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction codes for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with emerging qubit technologies
- Lead research publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences
- Partner with industry clients to prototype quantum solutions for real-world applications
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum information science or high-energy physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubit systems
