Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in machine learning and cryptography
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Publish high-impact research in leading journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum solutions into commercial products
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum hardware limitations
- Expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex theoretical problems
