Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, AI, and materials science
- Design and simulate quantum circuits using advanced frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor performance and scalability
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at global tech conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development and quantum circuit simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical optimization techniques
- Published research in quantum information science or top-tier conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum hardware limitations
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket) and HPC environments
