Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications

- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for quantum innovations
- Collaborate with government and industry partners on quantum security frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and experimental methodologies
- Contribute to roadmaps for quantum advantage implementation in commercial sectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical high-performance computing
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) or quantum computing conferences
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum information theory
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Ability to secure DOE/NIST/NASA research grants for quantum initiatives
