Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using cryogenic systems and photonic processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise graduate interns
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
- Stay current with emerging quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and algorithm design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent venues
- Hands-on experience with quantum hardware platforms (ion traps, superconducting qubits)
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, cloud quantum simulators)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
