Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on superconducting qubit systems and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research funding from government and private sector sources
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Familiarity with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware design
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra and quantum information theory
