Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum software solutions
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers and secure NSF grants
- Contribute to quantum cloud architecture development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published papers in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and parallel computing
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM, Rigetti)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
