Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic protocol optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science)
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Partner with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with practical implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum cryptography or error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of Shor's/Grover's algorithm implementations
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing systems
- Strong track record of securing R&D funding
