Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct theoretical research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum software interfaces and SDKs
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Partner with industry leaders to solve real-world problems in cryptography, materials science, and AI
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and Python
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
