Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in machine learning and logistics
- Develop quantum error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor performance metrics
- Publish research in leading journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and lead cross-functional innovation sprints
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and noise mitigation strategies
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing environments (HPC, cloud-based quantum simulators)
