Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for practical deployment
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experiments with superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to transition quantum-resistant encryption into production
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals with quarterly impact targets
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
