Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors with classical AI frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control system architectures
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in annual DARPA and NSF grant funding
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with IBM Quantum Experience or Rigetti Forest SDK
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (e.g., PennyLane, Qiskit)
- Proficiency in low-level quantum control programming (QASM, Pulse-level control)
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation protocols
- Track record of translating theoretical models into experimental implementations
