Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit designs
- Publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing and theoretical physics
- Develop secure quantum cryptography frameworks for 2026 infrastructure
- Identify commercial applications for quantum computing in finance and healthcare
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
