Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead research teams in quantum error correction and system optimization
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing integration into enterprise systems
- Secure and manage R&D partnerships with academic institutions and tech leaders
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Oversee quantum hardware testing and validation protocols
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and error correction
- Proven track record of leading quantum research projects
- Strong background in superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Experience securing multi-million dollar research grants
