Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for real-world applications in cryptography and materials science
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum solutions
- Secure research grants and publish findings in top-tier scientific journals
- Drive roadmap for quantum hardware-software integration
- Represent company at international quantum technology conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing research
- Experience managing R&D teams and multi-million dollar budgets
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions)
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for security clearance
