Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in financial modeling, drug discovery, and climate simulation
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum error correction protocols
- Present quantum breakthroughs to Fortune 500 executives and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry research
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience leading research teams with $1M+ budgets
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant architectures
- Clearance for government-sponsored quantum initiatives (or ability to obtain)
