Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers

- Secure $5M+ in research grants and partnerships with quantum hardware pioneers
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Quantum)
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish quantum computing curricula
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions for finance, logistics, and healthcare sectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or quantum information
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing government/industry research funding (NSF/DOE/DARPA)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
