Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for real-world applications in cryptography and materials science
- Manage team of 5+ quantum physicists and software engineers
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum error correction protocols
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Present findings at international quantum computing symposia
- Oversee lab operations with 40+ qubit systems
- Develop roadmap for quantum advantage implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record leading technical teams
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong knowledge of quantum error correction techniques
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
