Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Manage a team of 5-7 quantum computing researchers
- Drive strategic partnerships with quantum hardware providers
- Develop roadmap for quantum computing applications in AI and cryptography
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information science
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience leading technical research teams
- Knowledge of NISQ-era quantum computing limitations
