Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum algorithm development and optimization
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-machine learning frameworks
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and graduate interns
- Present findings at international conferences (IEEE Quantum, APS March Meeting)
- Drive partnerships with NASA, CERN, and Fortune 100 innovation labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing R&D experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Experience mentoring interdisciplinary research teams
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
