Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for commercial applications in cryptography and simulation
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Lead research initiatives in topological qubit stabilization techniques
- Create documentation and training materials for quantum system operators
- Present findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven ability to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
- Fluency in Python and C++ for quantum-classical integration
