Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit scalability
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence beyond 2026 requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization for AI and cryptography
- Research novel quantum materials and superconducting systems for commercial deployment
- Secure $50M+ in quantum computing patents and publish breakthrough research
- Partner with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging paradigms like topological computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in building quantum systems with demonstrated qubit stability metrics
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum entanglement or error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning architectures and tensor networks
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit fabrication
- Strong background in post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQCS)
