Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum systems operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Create quantum algorithms optimized for specific industry verticals (healthcare, logistics, materials science)
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum supremacy milestones
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026
- Present breakthrough research at international quantum computing symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting qubit design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy challenges and mitigation strategies
- Track record of leading successful quantum computing projects from concept to deployment
